Oh my goodness. I am overwhelmed by the weekend, everyone's hard work. All the beautiful goods for sale. The amazing community spirit. My amazing family & friends. Thank you all for making Christmas at the Barn so wonderful. I am speechless, quite literally as have lost my voice :) At home now, fire on, feet up, glass of wine....perfect end to perfect weekend. See you same place, same time next year.

Day 1 of Christmas at the Barn was F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to all the lovely people that came along.  There were so many happy faces and people leaving with a festive spring in their step & bags full of festive goodies. A huge thank you also to all of the stall holders today who all had done a fantastic job with their stalls & had so many beautiful products on offer.

The Frome Community Choir were amazing and it really lifted the atmosphere this afternoon.

On both the Saturday & Sunday (29th & 30th November 2014( seasonal refreshments will be served all day from 10am until 5pm.  So come browse the stalls, kick start your festive season in style and stop for a while in the cafe area.

The menu for the weekend includes freshly made:
Leek and Potato Soup served with a Bread roll
Butternut Squash & Chilli soup served with a Bread roll

ROLL UP, ROLL UP look who is coming to Christmas at the Barn Sat 29th & Sun 30th November 2014

There is definitely an Autumnal feel in the air which got me thinking that it is only 21 days until the huge barn doors will be open to welcome you all to Christmas at the Barn 2014. This years' event is a 2 day celebration of the festive season & beautiful, locally handmade unique items which are guaranteed to make perfect gifts this Christmas. 

Preparations are well underway for this years event.  All 21 stalls on both days of the event are sold out & we guarantee that you will find some truly unique, beautiful gifts for friends and family. Christmas at the Barn 2014 is going to be BIGGER, BETTER & EVEN MORE PACKED with festive loveliness (impossible I hear you cry!)

Edamay Homewares & Accessories

Edamay look forward to welcoming you to Christmas at the Barn 2011. Rebecca from Edamay is organizer of Christmas at the Barn.  She will be selling a selection of handmade homewares, cushions, Children’s accessories & Christmas decorations & cards.

 Millie Moon
Frome based Millie Moon will be selling their fantastically beautiful range of haberdashery items, handmade gifts & craft kits
If you can’t wait until November to see their items go & visit their beautiful, shop in Catherine Hill Frome!
Tina Seviour Jewellery
Somerset based jewellery designer Tina Seviour is returning to Christmas at the Barn for a fourth year. Tina’s pieces are often beautiful ‘one-offs’ made predominately from recycled silver.


Mary McQuillian 
Illustrator Mary McQuillian will be selling her delightful range of painted houses and illustrations. Mary is a super talented illustrator and has illustrated a mountain of children's books. Along with illustrating Mary is a member of the Edamay team working on our popular range of personalised key rings and Christmas decorations. 

Jo Lucksted
Shepton Mallet based Ceramic artist Jo will selling her beautiful range of ceramic buttons, bowls and angels. She will also be selling a range of Union Jack themed cushions & wall hangings. Prices range from £1 - £185.  If you can’t wait to see Jo’s collection pop along to her studio shop in Shepton!

Coco Bella
Mells Deana from Coco-Bella will be selling their delicious handcrafted fine dark & white chocolates. A delicious gift or simply a yummy treat for yourself!

Two Sues

Friends Sue Barry & Sue Ryder are traveling from Wales. They will be selling their beautiful, funky contemporary hand knitted & felted bags, knitted teddies, tea cozies, brooches, purses and hair accessories.  If you can’t wait to see Sue 2’s range then visit their won’t be disappointed! 

Plant Stall

Offering festive bulbs and follage along with season decorations and ribbons. Stop by this stall for seasonal finishing touches for your home. 

Colour Designs
We are seriously in love with Clare’s collection of bright, bold jewellery - big hint to Mr Christmas at the Barn for a Christmas present from this stall please!

Sylvia Balch
Local Artist Sylvia will be selling her stunning collection of water colour paintings of local plants. 

Helen Ablitt
Potters John & Helen Ablitt from East Pennard near Shepton Mallet will be selling their range of delicately coloured tablewares. The perfect items for adding to your collection or as gifts. 

Liz Olivia Designs 
Shepton based milliner Liz Olivia will be bringing along her stunning range of hats & head ware. Seriously stylish, practical  & beautifully made your head will thanks you all winter  when you wear one of her hats. Liz’s hats make great gifts too.

In addition to all of this there will be fresh, home-baked cakes, soups and refreshments served all day. Along with lashings of mulled wine & mince pies.
